First Day of School!!!

I was awoken this morning at 6 a.m. to Jocelyn screamin "First day of school, first day of school" I'm glad my excitement for school passed on to my daughter :)

She would not stop talking about school last night until midnight. Then right before she dozed off she begged me not to let her sleep in like sleeping beauty.

Sara is sad to see our 'baby' start school. I'm glad to have a 2 hour break where I'm not told what to do. (I'm thinking of sending Sara back to college, so I can rule my castle every morning and walk around my house naked)

Broncos 23 - Cowboys 13

I was blessed enough to be able to pay homage to my other Sunday religion and visit the motherland known as Mile High Stadium. As sad as my life be, I must admit this was a very, very cool experience. We sat on the 12th row on the 35 yard line, and we were close enough to mock T.O. by making fun of 'his quarterback.'

Kirk was unsure of the price we paid for the tickets, but he felt like it was quite a deal when he realzied how close we were to the cheerleaders. I was amazed at how long one person could stare with out blinking.

There is truly nothing like eating a 'Bronco Brat' on the 12th row...

Princess Jocelyn

She's acted like a princess for 5 years, but today it was for real. Jocelyn got to be princess for a day at Utah's first annual Princess Festival. She got to ride in a carriage, try on a glass slipper, and dance with Prince Charming (not as charming as her father, but a close 2nd.)

She loved every minute of it and of course her head is a little higher, wave a little cripser, and her demands and orders have never been firmer.
